‘Impermanence’ searches to elicit the concept of rasa - a state of total sensorial absorption. Exploring the theme of transience, laced within beeswax is the explicit idea of memory. The juxtaposition of inner world patterns and materials in the external world highlight the interaction between the self and its surroundings, linking memory and imagination.



‘Spectral Geodes’
All the colours need protecting.
The rocks need protection from the harsh ways in which we treat the earth.
The wool needs the protection of the rock to protect its softness.
All the colours come together to protect each other.
The hard beauty of the rock and the softness of the wool embrace one another and in this embrace we can think about how we are.
