'Tabula Rasa' refers to a blank slate, in this work I aim to construct a world where the viewer experiences Bhatta Nayaka’s concept of rasa - a state of total absorption. Laced within beeswax is the explicit idea of memory. Wax has the inherent ability to change forms, however in this arrangment it is suspended, fixed only for a moment in time.
